Rec Level 1
The foundation course for all backcountry users. Learn to identify avalanche terrain, understand weather and snowpack factors, practice rescue techniques, and make basic go/no-go decisions. Minimum 24 hours with field experience.
Companion Rescue
Hands-on training in companion rescue techniques, transceiver searches, probing, and shoveling. Critical skills that could save lives. Often combined with Recreational Level 1 or taught separately. 8 hours minimum.

Industrial Worker Safety
Bring us to your location. This course is for workers whose job involves working in or traveling through avalanche terrain. During this 8-16 hour hands-on course participants will: develop critical avalanche rescue skills, learn to identify avalanche terrain, apply safe travel protocols and understand the signs of instability.
Advanced Avalanche Rescue Skills
Hands-on course to take your rescue skills to the next level. Learn to solve multiple burial scenarios with advanced transceiver functions and methods, organizing a group response, and managing a cold patient.

Glacier Travel + Crevasse Rescue
Learn, or refresh, your glacier travel and crevasse rescue skills. Review the essential gear, glacier travel techniques, rope management, crevasse rescue including: building snow anchors, 3:1, 5:1 and drop-c haul systems.
Companion Rescue Refresher
4 hour, hands-on course to sharpen your companion rescue skills. Practice multiple iterations of transceiver searching, spot probing, and excavation.

Bring us to your location. For teams that are equipped with RECCO R9 handheld detectors. This 8-16 hour course will bring your team up to speed on efficient and effective search techniques while using the R9.
