Contract Seminar Description

A contract seminar enables you to utilize the terrain, equipment, machinery, infrastructure and problem sites that are a specific challenge to your organization. No two seminars are exactly alike since every organization is at a different level of skill and knowledge. Participants can look forward to interactive seminar topics and techniques.

Seminar Length

We are flexible with regard to the duration, schedule, and content of each seminar in order to most appropriately meet your goals and objectives.

Training Location Requirements:

If Avalanche Training Institute is visiting your location for the first time, we will plan to arrive a day ahead of time to review with your designated point-of-contact the field site locations to be used, the team gear cache, and any other requirements for the week’s activities (e.g. permits, parking, etc).

The primary field site need not be in avalanche terrain, but should have ample space for rescue practice including a small slope for strategic shoveling scenarios.

Additionally, travel time from classroom to field site should not exceed 40 minutes, ideally.

Classroom Space:

The facilities need to include a meeting room, with tables and chairs that are available for use anytime during the training event. Important classroom items include:

– A dry erase whiteboard with various colored markers

– An LCD projector and screen or HDMI TV
